I want to buy a 180 gallon fish tank but i dont know where i can buy it. Im located in the lehigh valley in pa if that helps. Does anyone know a store tht i can get larger fish tanks at?

I would suggest craigslist since there are lots of people getting rid of perfectly good tank setups for really cheap.
I have been on this one website called fish.com. Sometimes they have sales and really good deals, you should check it out.
Craigslist first. If you don’t see anything on there I would recommend posting an ad in their pet section to let them know you want one. Maybe someone on there who has one will contact you. Not likely, but worth a shot while you go around and price at the stores.
Then, check the prices online at petco or petsmart. It’s best to eyeball the price at these two before going to independent shops. Don’t buy the first tank you see, compare the price between the two stores online. Then, when you have an idea, go to or call your local aquarium/pet shop and ask them to give you some prices. I would suggest going to all the shops in a 50 mile radius for a buy like this. If the other stores are cheaper – let them know – maybe they will beat the price, depending on what the owner is like. You might consider going to a specialty website that sales doscpimted tanks. You might qualify for free shipping even.
I will mention that Petco does this awesome sale twice a year. It sells their tanks for $1 a gallon. That doesn’t include any hoods or kits or anything, just the tank. So a 180 gallon tank would go on sale for $180. They do it once in the winter/fall and once in the spring/summer. You just missed it by a few weeks. Keep this in mind if you find that the 180 gallons are to expensive in comparison. By waiting a few months you may/may not save a lot of money by being aware of sales like this. Remember that hoods and lighting and filters can cost a lot of money on their own, so if you are doing just a regular freshwater tank you might be better off skipping a sale like that. But if you already have your setups or need custom, this would be a good way to go.
