Well it all depends on what size tank you have, if you have heater, a filer, and an air pump.
Please include more details and I’ll be happy to tell you what kinds of fish would be good
None of them will be really healthy.
The best fish to get depends on your tank size and experience and personal taste.
Also, if you go to a better store, the employees there will probably be much more knowledgeable and you’ll get fish that are more likely to survive.
Oh come on, obviously you already know that walmart is a crappy place to buy fish. Unless you know how to spot disease in their tanks, and want sick fish that will infect your tank , you shouldn’t buy at walmart.
There are no good fish at walmart, their systems are usually in really bad shape, the fish are sick and the people running the system don’t have any power to use effective methods to keep the fish healthy. They aren’t even given effective medications and the fish holding systems are the worst ever made.
it really depends on your walmart and the employees, at our walmart they have special guys who deliver the fishes and maintain their tank and…blah…blah…blah, so i always buy them from the walmart, just dont buy betta from walmart, if you want freshwater fish, just glance through the tank and find a fish that has all the fins intact and also looks very active.
buy any fish…and when they die buy a new one???
Put like 10 comet gold fish and 2 oscars a gar pike and like 5 plecos to clean up as plecos are the best cleaners and make no mess
